Course Details

This course is designed for students who are interested in an entry-level nursing course.  This course meets the Title 22 regulations for taking care of the geriatric population in the long-term care setting, applying skills in basic care, emergency care and communication.  The Clinical Nurse Assistant Pre-certification training consists of 60 hours of classroom instruction and 100 hours of clinical training. CPR training is also part of the course.

The course prepares the student to take the California State Certification Exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant.  After being state-certified, the student may find employment in acute care or long-term care settings.

Registration – $300

Please note that students must purchase their own medical uniforms.

Training prepares students for the California State Nurse Assistant Exam
