Course Details

This course is designed for students who are interested in an entry-level nursing course.  This course meets the Title 22 regulations for taking care of the geriatric population in the long-term care setting, applying skills in basic care, emergency care and communication.  The Clinical Nurse Assistant Pre-certification training consists of 60 hours of classroom instruction and 100 hours of clinical training. The course prepares the student to take the California State Certification Exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant.  After being state-certified, the student may find employment in acute care or long-term care settings. 

Course Fee:

Training prepares students for the California State Nurse Assistant Exam

  3. Recognize assumptions vs. facts presented in class via case studies.

  7. Demonstrate the ability to apply soft skills and interpersonal communication.
